  1. Catedral Nova
The New Cathedral was built between 1761 and 1781 with endowments from the people of Lleida, King Carlos III and Bishop Joaquín Sánchez, and today it forms part of the network of Cathedral Cities. Built in the baroque style with hints of French academic classicism, the main entrance is topped with the coat of arms of the Borbon family. A staircase leads to three arched doorways fitted with iron gates and flanked on each side by towers.
  2. Capella del Peu del Romeu
This tiny chapel, which was originally dedicated to Our Lady of the Snows, dates back to the time of the Muslim occupation and stands in what was then a Christian district. It is now dedicated to St. James the Apostle. Inside, the chapel, which stands on the route taken by pilgrims travelling to Santiago de Compostela, you could admire the sculpture of St. James.
  3. Palau de la Paeria
The Palau de la Paeria is the seat of the city’s government. The building has two main façades; one looks out over Plaça Paeria, while the other, a 1929 neo-Medieval remodeling of the neoclassical structure, overlooks the River Segre. Built in the 13th century, it was given to the city by the Sanaüja family in 1383. The Paeria is the name given to Lleida city Council and it derives from the term paer (from the Latin patiari or man of peace), an honour conferred in 1264 by King Jaume I.
  4. Palau de la Diputacio / Casa Sauces
The Palace of Lleida Provincial Council building is located between two streets. Since 1898 is the headquarters of Lleida Provincial Council, the local government of the province of Lleida.
The building was constructed between 1789 and 1795 and is neoclassical civil.
